My first crochet project (that I actually finished). I started out making leg warmers for Poppy and wound up with tiny toy fruit. I guess the yarn decides what it wants to become.

So we have a strawberry...

a persimmon...

and some cherries

Aww...my little bitty basket of fruit.

The leg warmers would have been really cute, but then so are the fruit! Love the little basket! :)

Better have Andria teach you, Heather. As you can see, I haven't exactly mastered the art of making whatever it is you're actually planning on making.:) Though I'm sure you'd be a natural.
I haven't seen your blog in a LONG time & it was great seeing all your fun posts. You Bahler girls & all your talent....my oh my :) Maybe you can teach Avrie while you're here & then she can teach her mama.:)
Impressive, Ash! So often I see things that have been crocheted, and want them (but don't want to pay for them :)) wish I'd just take the time to learn myself...
