Twenty-THREE

Yesterday was my birthday and I'm 23 now!

Crazy.

I think God really likes me because he made yesterday the most gorgeous day of the year (but maybe that's not saying much when you consider the weather we've had so far). Seriously though, 70 degrees and sunny in March? In Indiana? I was in heaven.

Bryan and I went to the park and walked through the grounds and the woods until sunset. Then we spent the rest of the night relaxing with jazz and good food at the Jazz Kitchen.

Oh, and Bryan gave me the best birthday present ever. He said that he had thought about it and decided for my birthday that he was OK using the baby name that I have fallen in love with but he wasn't too sure about (at first).:)

I would tell you what it is, but it's a secret.

Pink and Red

Back in February, we hosted a Valentine's party for a group of couples from church. It was lots of fun. We tried out chocolate fondue, made Valentine's cards like in elementary school, and took turns answering deep, probing marriage questions.

I completely forgot to take pictures, of course. Which is a shame, because we offered a prize to whoever dressed up in the most Valentinesey outfit and we had some pretty good ones (lots of pink and red).

But here are a couple much less interesting pictures from the day after the party. That card is the one Bryan made all by himself for his little cousin. Isn't that adorable? I was very impressed...and will be expecting a homemade card next year.

Baby Update!

I'm 15 weeks along (second trimester already!), everything is just fine, and the baby is the length of an ORANGE.

Maybe that explains why I've been craving orange juice so much...
