It was Mia's first trip back to China after five years as part of our family. Not your typical vacation. At times it was emotional and uncomfortable but also eye-opening and beautiful. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be part of this experience and to understand my sister and her culture in a whole new way. The warmth and generosity of the Chinese people we met was touching and I am also more convinced than ever that Mia is amazing. She is one of my heroes and I love her.
