Spalding Residency: Spring 2012

What an intense, challenging, and incredible 10 days! There's nothing quite like residency. I learned, and learned, and learned some more. They pack a semester's worth of workshop, lectures, panels, readings and events into that short week and a half.

It was fun to finally be on the actual campus of the university I'm "attending," and I had such a great time exploring Louisville and reconnecting with my Spalding friends!

My Bags are Packed

I'm ready to go! I leave tomorrow for my grad school program's 10-day residency on their Louisville campus. This will be the start of my third semester, out of four.

I'll miss Bry and Poppy, that's for sure. But I'm also super excited. I was reading through the residency schedule and lecture descriptions yesterday, and it made me all happy just thinking about it. When you get excited about class and all the work it will entail, I think that's when you know you're doing what God made you to do.

It's such a great opportunity. Please pray that I make the most out of it. And that Bry and Poppy will be here safe and sound and excited to see me when I get home.

Thanks and love to you all!

...And Then There Was a Wedding

Sam and Kait are officially married!
And what a beautiful wedding it was. I was teary all weekend long. Such a peaceful, lovely few days full of God's goodness (and just enough wedding stress to make it exciting).

Thank you to the many, many people who helped make it all happen!

This is only a first sprinkling of pictures. There are sure to be more of my favorites posted soon.
