Oh little Fifers. She may be high maintenance but no matter how frustrated I may be on the third round of trying to rock her back to sleep, life somehow feels OK again when I'm kissing that face. Speaking of which, I finally decided on just rocking her to sleep and dealing with sleep associations later. She's so snuggly and physical touch seems extra important to her so I'm letting myself slow down and enjoy it. Be all in the moment, you know?
And I've continued to be very impressed with the big sisters in the house. For the most part they have been sweet and helpful with Fife and are growing up fast. So we're doing alright over here.
What Fife has been up to…
+ Rolling from back to stomach
+ Loves to be outside
+ Playing with toys…or mostly just chewing on them
+ Very much knows what she likes and doesn't like
+ Still so hard for her to go to sleep and stay asleep…requires a very specific setup and even then it's a struggle
+ Makes the most engaged eye contact and face expressions
+ Seems to be starting to prefer certain people and be wary of strangers
