Christmas in November

Jen and Luke were home last week and we simply had to do Christmas while they were here. It felt a little strange since Thanksgiving is still two weeks away, but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without everybody. I kind of forgot about my camera for most of the night and did a pretty sad job of taking pictures, but here's what I have. The first picture on top is of my luxuriously soft slippers from Kait. I'm wearing them right now and will continue to do so until the sun comes out in the spring. Thank you Kait for keeping my toes warm through the winter.:)
Ann and Kait getting us into the Christmas spirit with some carols before opening gifts. :)Us, getting into the Christmas spirit while listening to aforementioned carols...Ann's pretty tank top...from Jen I think. You can see Ann's cute little pregnant belly in this picture.:) Yay for babies!
I wanted to get a picture of Kurt with his gifts...but I got this nice shot of his Frappuccino instead. We love you Jen and Luke...thanks for coming, it was great being with you last week!

So glad you got some pictures of Christmas. =o) I didn't take any and feel kind of like a lame for not getting any of the boys and their cool gifts from you guys. =o) Mom got some I'll steal. =o)

I know, I was totally spacing it during dinner and while the boys were opening their gifts. It would have been so funny to have a movie of that. "Oh my WORD!" and "It's a telescope, for looking at the STARS!!":) They were so much fun.

Bryan:

You might remember a song that Seth wrote our first semester at PU.

"Christmas in November"

Christmas in November is for losers
Christmas in November is for losers
Christmas in November is for losers
and [insert name] is a loser.

Now that I think of it, I think the actual lyrics had "October", and "Ben" instead of [insert name]. Hope it was great.

Hey Ben:

I do remember that song. And yes, it ran through my mind a few times during the Christmas...and yes, we had a good time.

In fact, I think we had a good enough time that we'll do it again in a few weeks.

And about that song, I remember Seth throwing in your name, but really meaning the two of us (since we were both celebrating) and not finding enough syllables to include my name as well. I think I accepted being forgotten quite well.
