Month Three

It's appropriate that these were taken on our bed…her very favorite place (other than our arms of course). Bry said we should just give the bed to her and buy a new one. It's a good thing she's soft and squishable and so nice to snuggle because boy is this baby cuddly. She even seems to like all my kisses.

Sorry for the grainy photos. The room wasn't super bright and I was using my phone because I'm lazy.
What Fife has been up to...

+ Being all social and interact-y with her smiles, giggles, and big girl conversations
+ Sucking on her hands and still enjoying her pacifier
+ About average weight and height
+ Holding on tight to everything she can - hands (ours and her own), clothes, blankets, hair (ouch), etc.
+ Still baffling us with her picky sleep habits…or really, the lack of any habits at all. Queen of the catnap and world's LIGHTEST sleeper!
+ Reminding me a lot of both her sisters in the looks department
+ Chilling out a little overall and seeming to enjoy her world more

Tough News

Bry's dad Mark had a major stroke a few weeks ago. Right around Father's Day, ironically. Mark and Lori were traveling in Japan with Bry's sister when it happened and they are still there until Mark is able to leave the hospital long enough to fly home. It's been hard to be so far away. Thank goodness for FaceTime.

There has been some progress but at this point we don't know how much Mark will recover. We don't know if he'll regain his speech or the use of his right side. We don't know if he'll be able to read the girls another story.

It has been making me think about the last time we were together. It was at a lake festival the weekend before they left for Japan. It was a beautiful, hot day. I was lazy about taking photos and only pulled out the camera for the ponies and the face painting. I'm always bad at thinking to take a group photo, but this is one of those times that I really wish I had.

We appreciate your prayers so much and know they are helping.
